D'exellence Salmon Pasta Alfredo

Step 1

preheat oven to 180°C

Step 2

Season de salmon with olive oil and half of the cajun seasoning. Place the salmon in a baking dish and bake for 15min in the oven.

Step 3

chop the onion and garlic in smal pieces or if you are done with crying while you are cutting onions, buy the multi function cut gadget. (Under amazon gadgets on website)

Step 4

Heat the butter in a pan and fry the onions for 5 to 10 minutes. Then add the garlic, chicken stock and milk. Reduce the sauce on medium heat for 10-15 minutes, stirring continuously.

 

 

Step 5

When the sauce has reduced, add cream cheese, pepper, the rest of the cajun seasoning, cream and 40g of greated parmesan cheese. (Which you can do with the multi fuction cut gadget)

Step 6

Bring water to a boil and add your pasta of choice. Cook until al dente.

Step 7

Mix the pasta with the sauce. Plate with the salmon on top and finish off with the rest of the cheese.

Ingredients   2 serves

 

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp cajun seasoning
  • 30g butter
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 300ml chicken stock
  • 300ml milk
  • 50g parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese
  • 50ml cream
  • pepper to taste
  • 200g pasta of choice
